  4. This morning the Grade 5 & 6 classes came to library and we started things off with some fun reading and singing the new Footloose book! Thanks Mrs. McLeod for showing me that book, you are right you can't just read it you have to sing it. However right after having fun with Footloose everyone picked up the Battle book they were reading and it was quiet as a mouse in the library. Some very intense reading going on this morning!! Way to go guys!!

  7. I am so glad you are having fun with the Battle! I was in Oak Lake on Friday night watching hockey and I recognized some names of students who will be participating. I also saw them again on Sunday in Hartney and I had a chance to talk to Mr. Thiessen. It was a busy weekend for hockey but I am sure you all had time to get some reading done! I was busy this morning ordering our medallions for the Battle. It will be here before we know it! Glad to hear from you Oak Lake!!

  8. Well this morning in library we read A Hero Named Howe together. As we were reading it I thought of several really good questions to use for the Battle.
